A Few Words To Helpers

When people reach a state of joy, they don't desire or require any help to stay there, because they feel it will last forever. It doesn’t.

When people reach a state of depression, they desire and require help to transcend that state, because it feels like it will last forever. It doesn't.

No emotional state of being lasts forever, despite how it may feel to the contrary. There is a dominant personal vibration which is unique to yourself, which you will always return to. This state of being is established by your experiential pattern of growth, which is responsible for your current and ever-changing system of beliefs.

It is out of your belief system that you interact with the rest of the world. Generally speaking, if you are in constant conflict with your environment, then your beliefs about life and subsequent actions, will be considerably vibrationally lower or higher than those of the people around you.

Many people are engaged in the activity of helping people feel better about life and themselves, as a vocation. These people range from the medical profession, to religious leaders, to life coaches and healers.

To be effective as a helper to another person, you need to recognize the cause of discontent before you can seek to alter the state of being of another person. Otherwise it is the case of the blind leading the blind.

As a healer or helper, if you continue to experience the same symptoms which you are trying to alleviate in another, then you have to ask yourself if you "own" what you are trying to give another? We will for our purposes assume that you do own that state of being, which you are trying to extend to another.

In working with emotionally distraught people you need to understand fully, a few key points about the mind and reality.

The first point is that no two people will react identically to the same external stimulus. This tells you that the people involved must be placing their own meaning on that external stimulus, otherwise all reactions would be identical.

Therefore, when you are helping people emotionally recover from some incident or series of circumstances, you should realize that you are dealing with beliefs, which are the cause of their discontent.

Even in case where people lose arms or legs or other body parts, the variations in the way that people deal with those realities, varies amongst individuals, due to their dominant personal vibration which is fueled by each persons beliefs.

The second point that some one who is a helper would benefit from is that, if you share the same beliefs as your client, then you are in a position to be compassionate, but are not qualified to do for another, what you have failed to do for yourself.

As a helper your beliefs need to extend beyond compassion and love in order to provide to your client an alternate way of looking at the world, otherwise you've relegated yourself to being merely a commercial hand holder.

This means that as a helper, you should start opening your mind to higher vibrational levels of thought, which are capable of developing a system of beliefs within you, that can potentially lead your clients to higher states of well-being.

To test where you're at with your beliefs I will cite two examples of belief which are in stark contrast to the beliefs held in the general population.

The first belief is that each person gives life and all circumstances encountered in life, all the meaning that it holds for them. In other words, life has no preconceived meaning, (which is not the same as saying that life has no value).

The second belief is that there is no such thing as special relationships at vibrationally higher levels of existence. And while we recognize them here on earth, if they do not exist in higher realms of reality, then for all intents and purposes, they do not exist at all.

Now if either of these two beliefs create any conflict within you, then it is an indication that as good as your intentions are toward your clients, your beliefs are too close to those of the general population and your client, to permanently correct their errors in thinking.

Dysfunctions of the body are more often than not, caused by energy disruptions at the cellular level, as a result of years of emotional stress. Mental and emotional health can not be reached and maintained from a delusional state of beliefs, and all beliefs which are based in ego thought, instead of the ultimate reality of God are delusional.

This is not to say that those who desire to help others need to be perfect to do so. Being a loving and compassionate person places you head and shoulders above the crowd, however if you want to round third base and slide into home, you can't languish in the conformity of your beliefs.

Social consciousness is the cause of discontent, not the cure, and to be a helper to others each person's beliefs need to rise far above the level of conformity.

Have you ever wondered how a person could see a psychiatrist for years and make such slow progress? The reason is that both the client and the professional share the same basic beliefs about life, and as a result they share more commonalities than differences.

How can you give someone a drink of water if you don't know where the well is?

The choice then to help others can be motivated by love or ego, and those who hold fixed positions of belief are usually motivated by ego. Loving individuals are usually willing to try anything, that could potentially enhance their ability to serve others in a superior fashion.

In conclusion then, nothing in life has any preconceived meaning. Life is always exactly as God designed and intended it to be. It is not now, nor ever, was out of God's control. Each persons interpretation of life moves them either farther away from, or closer to, the revelation of God, who is life itself.
